The purpose of this online audition

- Performers: 5 successful applicants from all categories. They may perform both solo and chamber pieces.

Concert in Poland
- Date: August 2025
- Performers: 5 successful applicants from all categories.
- Accommodation: Our sponsor offers 2 nights stay in Poland.

Concert in Vietnam
- Date: 2026
- Performers: 5 successful applicants from all categories.
- Accommodation: Our sponsor offers 2 nights stay in Hanoi.
Additional Information
- Feedback: All applicants will receive comments from the judges.
- Certificates: All selected performers will receive certificates from CGIMF.
- Awards: A “Best Performer” will be chosen and awarded at each concert.
- CGIMF will not cover travel expenses.
- The concert venue, performance style and program, performance schedule, rehearsal schedule, etc will be announced later.
Terms
Musicians of all nationalities can participate without an age limit.
- Junior A Category: 9 years old or younger as of January 1, 2025
- Junior B Category: from 10 to 12 years old as of January 1, 2025
- Junior C Category: from 13 to 15 years old as of January 1, 2025
- Open Category: 16 years old or older as of January 1, 2025
- In an ensemble with members of different ages, please select the category based on the age of the oldest member.
- Repertoire: Required to submit a YouTube link to a performance video.
Participants of all categories can choose the pieces of music to perform in the video. - The performance in the video does not have to be memorized.
- The pieces performed for the audition do not have to be the same as those performed in the actual concert.
Recording duration and application fee for each category
- Junior A, B Category
Maximum duration 5 min
Application fee 1,800THB (approximately 50 USD) - Junior C Category
Maximum duration 10 min
Application fee 2,500THB (approximately 70 USD) - Open Category
Maximum duration 20 min
Application fee 3,500THB (approximately 100 USD)- Groups (duos, chambers, choirs) can apply using the name of a single representative.
Notice: The application fee must be paid for the number of participants, but with a 30% discount. For example: Five-member chamber group in the open category: 3,500THB × 5 × 70% - Participants residing in Chiang Mai receive a 50% discount on the application fee.
Notice: CGIMF will not offer accommodation and travel expenses. - All participants will receive comments from the judges on their submitted videos
- Deadline for applications is Feburary 28, 2025
- Audition results will be announced on March 31, 2025
- Groups (duos, chambers, choirs) can apply using the name of a single representative.
